A. Permits Required. No person shall take or perform any of the actions, or construct, install or alter any building or equipment, for which codes or standards have been adopted as part of the Building Code, Fire Prevention Code or Life Safety Code.
B. Form of Application. Applications for such permits shall be submitted on forms approved and prepared by the Village and shall be filed with the Director of Community Development.
C. Application Review. The Fire Chief shall review all applications for work or equipment that is subject to the provisions of this chapter or subject to any other provision of the Code that is under the direction or administration of the Fire Chief or the Fire Department.

D. Construction Permit Requirements. Any permit issued for construction activity that is subject to the requirements of this chapter shall be subject to all conditions and requirements of this Code that apply to permits issued under the Building Code and Dwelling Code.
