Section 15.16.060   Fire Prevention and Life Safety Agency--Definitions
   For the purpose of administering regulations for the prevention of destructive fires and for safety to life from fires, the Fire Department is designated the Fire Prevention Agency under the Fire Prevention Code and the authority having jurisdiction under the Life Safety Code and the Fire Chief is designated the Chief of the Fire Prevention Agency.
