Warning signs, lights and barricades shall be maintained whenever any repairs are made in any public street, alley or sidewalk in the Village, whether such work is done by Village employees or private individuals. It is lawful to maintain such barricades in the case of street or sidewalk paving work until such pavement shall be fit for use. It is unlawful to interfere with or remove any such signs, lights or barricades without the permission of the Director of Engineering.
