A. It is a violation of this chapter for any person to do any act forbidden in this chapter or to fail to perform any act required in this chapter.
B. The parent of any minor child and the guardian of any ward shall not authorize or knowingly permit any such child or ward to violate any of the provisions of this chapter.
C. These regulations shall apply whenever a bicycle is operated upon a road, sidewalk or upon any path set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles, subject to those exceptions stated in this chapter.
D. A bicycle is defined as any device propelled by human power upon which a person may ride, and having two tandem wheels, either of which is more than twenty (20) inches in diameter.
