A. No person shall park a vehicle on any street during a snow emergency.
B. A snow emergency shall exist whenever the Director of Public Works determines that two or more inches of snow has fallen within a twenty-four (24) hour period or that two or more inches of snow remains on any roadway in the Village, provided, that a snow emergency shall be deemed to exist in the Hubbard Woods business district, the east and west Elm Street business districts and the Indian Hill business district only if it is also declared by signs temporarily posted in such district.
C. A snow emergency shall remain in effect on residential streets until snow has been cleared from the streets. A snow emergency shall remain in effect on any street in the Hubbard Woods business district, the Elm Street business district and the Indian Hill district until. the Village Manager, or a person designated by the Village Manager, declares that the snow emergency has ended. The removal of snow emergency signs from any street by authorized Village personnel shall be evidence of a declaration that the snow emergency on that street has ended.
D. Any vehicle parked in violation of this section shall be subject to relocation or to towing as provided in Section 10.08.100 of this chapter. In addition, any person who violates this section shall be subject to a fine of $150.00.
