Section 10.24.020   Prohibited parking.
   A.   Parking in Alleys. No person shall park a vehicle within an alley in such a manner or under such conditions as to obstruct the roadway for the free movement of vehicular traffic.
   B.   Crosswalks, Bus Stops, Taxicab Stands and Passenger Zones. No person shall park a vehicle so as to encroach upon or otherwise obstruct any area that has been designated and marked as a crosswalk, bus stop, taxicab stand or passenger zone.
   C.   Loading Zones. No person shall park a vehicle so as to encroach upon or obstruct any area that has been designated and marked as a loading zone, during the hours in which such designation is in effect.
   D.   Fire Hydrants. No person shall park a vehicle on any street within fifteen (15) feet on either side of a fire hydrant, unless the curb adjoining the fire hydrant has been marked by the Village with yellow paint as a prohibited parking area, in which case parking shall be prohibited in the area of the street adjoining such yellow curb markings.
   E.   Intersections. No person shall park a vehicle within thirty (30) feet of any intersection controlled by flashing signals, stop signs, yield signs or other traffic controls or signals, or within twenty (20) feet of any uncontrolled intersection, except to the extent that any of such areas has been marked and signed as a permitted parking area.
   F.   Obstruction of Sidewalks. No person shall park a vehicle, whether on public or private property, so as to encroach upon or otherwise obstruct any portion of a sidewalk or parkway, unless the sidewalk has been marked and signed as a permitted parking area.
   G.   Obstruction of Driveways. No person shall park a vehicle within two (2) feet of a public or private driveway.
   H.   The prohibitions of this section shall be cumulative and, if any prohibited parking area includes or overlaps with another prohibited parking area, the prohibited parking area shall be extended as necessary to comply with the cumulative effect of all applicable prohibitions.
