Section 8.12.100   Revocation of License
   A.   The Village Sanitarian may, after providing opportunity for a hearing, revoke a license to operate under any one or more of the following circumstances:
      1.   The presence of any critical violation;
      2.   The simultaneous presence of multiple violations of this chapter in such a quantity that the Village Sanitarian determines that there is a gross disregard of health and sanitation codes;
      3.   Repeated violations of this chapter found in consecutive inspections; and
      4.   Interference with the Village Sanitarian in the performance of his/her duty to enforce or administer this chapter.
   B.   Before revoking a license to operate a food service establishment or retail food store, the Village Sanitarian shall issue a written notice to the licensee, or the person in charge of the premises, which notice shall specify the reasons for which the license is subject to revocation. The license to operate the establishment shall be revoked at the end of ten (10) days following service of such notice unless a written request for a hearing is filed with the Community Development Director by the holder of the license within such ten (10) day period. If no request for hearing is filed within the ten (10) day period, the revocation of the license to operate becomes final.
   C.   Upon the revocation of a license, all food-related operations shall cease immediately.
