A. Standing in Streets Prohibited. Except as provided in subsection B of this section, no taxicab shall park or stand on any of the public streets, alleys or parking lots of the Village for more than five minutes except when receiving or discharging passengers, or when instructed by a passenger to do so.
B. Taxi stands. No public street, alley or parking lot of the Village, and no private driveway of any railroad company shall be used as a station to stand for the carrying on of the taxicab business except at places designated by the Village Manager and marked by suitable signs.
