In addition to the application information required pursuant to section 15.68.030, the applicant shall submit proof of compliance with the bond and insurance requirements set forth in this section.
A. Bonds. The applicant shall submit a certificate from the Secretary of State showing that each taxicab to be operated by the applicant complies with the State's laws and regulations relating to the bonding and insuring of motor vehicles used for the carriage of passengers for hire.
B. Insurance. The applicant shall submit proof of adequate insurance against liability for personal injury and property damage arising out of operation of a taxicab. The Village Manager shall be authorized to establish the minimum insurance requirements from time to time, provided that minimum insurance requirements shall not be changed during the term of a license unless the license has been revoked or suspended. The minimum amounts of such insurance shall be stated in the application materials provided by the Chief of Police.
