A. Creation; Members; Compensation. There is created a Board of Local Improvements for the Village. This Board shall consist of the President of the Village and the Village Trustees. The Village President shall be ex officio President of the Board. The members of the Board of Local Improvements shall serve without compensation.
B. Meetings; Quorum. Meetings of the Board of Local Improvements shall be held at the call of the Chairperson. All meetings shall be open to the public and conducted in accordance with the Open Meetings Act and Chapter 3.02 of this code. The Board shall keep minutes of its proceedings and record the vote of each member on every question. A majority of the members of the Board shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of business and the holding of any hearing.
C. Powers and Duties. The Board of Local Improvements shall have such powers and duties pertaining to the initiation and construction of local improvements to be paid for wholly or in part by special assessment or special taxation as are or may be given to it by the statutes of the state and the provisions of this code.
