An officer or appointee shall comply with Sections 2.41.080 and 2.41.090 when the officer or appointee: i) has actual knowledge that an entity is seeking consideration from or attempting to establish a business relationship with the Village; and ii) has actual knowledge that the same entity is in direct business competition with another entity in which the same officer or appointee has or is about to acquire an interest of more than one percent (1%), or in which the officer or appointee is about to become an officer, director, management official, employee, attorney or other professional consultant.
