The Village Clerk is authorized to appoint one or more Deputy Clerks, who shall have the power and duty, in the absence or disability of the Village Clerk, to perform the duties of the Clerk, including to execute all documents required by law to be executed by the Village Clerk and to affix the seal of the Village to such documents wherever required.
