It is unlawful to shoot, fire or explode any firearms, fireworks, firecrackers, torpedo or explosives of any kind or to carry any firearm or to shoot or fire any air gun, bow and arrows, BB gun, pellet gun or use any slingshot or other propelling device wherein the applied human energy force is artificially aided, directed or added to any park or throw any rocks or other objects, except in such designated recreational areas as may by the town be developed and provided for such activities. Where no such areas are provided, it shall be unlawful to have any of the above named objects in one’s possession while inside a town park or recreation area. FIREARMS shall include handguns, rifles and shotguns.
