No driver of a vehicle, except an emergency vehicle, shall drive between the vehicles comprising a funeral procession or other authorized procession while they are in motion and when those vehicles are conspicuously designated as required in this subchapter. This provision shall not apply at an intersection where traffic is controlled by a traffic-control signal or any police officer or designated town personnel, and shall not apply to authorized emergency vehicles.
