(A) Any person violating one or more of the provisions of this title shall, upon conviction before any court of law, pay a fine for each offense. Each day that the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
(B) The Town Building Official or the Clerk-Treasurer, after consultation with the Town Council, shall have the authority, at his or her option, to designate to the Town Attorney the amount of any fine to be requested of the court in any matter of the trial of any violation of this title in which the defendant is found liable.
