The Chief of the Fire Department and his or her officers are herein sometimes referred to as Fire Department officials and the County Police Department sometimes are referred to as police officers, and it shall be unlawful for any person to refuse or fail to comply with any lawful order, signal, or direction of a Chief of the Fire Department or a fireperson, when acting in accordance with § 71.002.
