171.16 BONDS; FORFEITURE.
   (a)   In case bond or forfeit has been posted in money or property, and the Municipal Court finds the defendant guilty, the Municipal Court by order entered on the docket may appropriate the forfeit, or so much therefor as may be necessary to the payment of the fine, or in case property is posted not in money, may order sale of the property and take such fine, penalties and costs from the proceeds.
   (b)   In case a bond has been posted, the Municipal Court may render judgement against the defendant and his surety in the bond for the amount and issue execution therefor and may issue an order for the arrest and imprisonment of the defendant until such fine, penalties and costs are paid.
