SECTION 8 VOTER QUALIFICATIONS.
   All persons who have been bona fide residents of said Town for six months next preceding the election held therein, at which they offer to vote, and who are qualified voters under the Constitution and laws of this State, and none others, shall be entitled to vote at any election held in said Town. But no person shall be deemed a resident of said Town by reason of being a student in any school or college therein or of being stationed therein for any temporary purpose.
