(a) Rate charges for water usage are as follows:
(1) Charges for metered water up to 8,000 gallons sold to locations inside the Village commencing on October 1, 2016 shall be $1.20 for the first one hundred gallons and an additional $1.20 for each fraction of one hundred gallons thereafter for usage each month.
(2) Charges for metered water above the first 8,000 gallons sold to locations inside the Village commencing on October 1, 2016 shall be $1.47 for the first one hundred gallons over 8,000 gallons and an additional $1.47 for each fraction of one hundred gallons of additional usage thereafter each month.
(3) Commencing on January 1, 2017, the metered water rate as set forth in Section 923.03(a)(1) and (2) shall be increased by five percent (5%) annually.

(b) Users residing outside of the Village corporation limits shall be assessed an additional twenty percent (20%) surcharge of the current rate for usage.

(c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter 923 of the Village of Windham Codified Ordinances, to receive water, potable or otherwise, from the Village of Windham water system, the real estate receiving the water must be located within the Village of Windham corporate limits. No exception to this requirement can be made except upon passage of a resolution waiving this requirement by Council.

(d) In addition to all other charges incurred for the purchase of water from the Village, a delivery fee of $10.00 for each water account is to be paid each month. The $10.00 fee is fixed per account regardless of the volume of water purchased.
