§ 35.19 PAYMENT OF CLAIMS; DEPOSITS FOR PAYMENT.
   (A)   The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay all qualified and bona fide medical claims made with respect to each covered employee or dependant, subject to the limitations of § 35.17 and division (B) of this section, and the Clerk-Treasurer is further authorized to delegate such responsibility to one or more administrators of the plan.
   (B)   The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to draw upon the fund and to deposit for payment of claims, either in reasonable anticipation thereof or as actually accrued, such funds as shall be necessary from time to time to meet or provide for the city's obligations under the plan. Further, the Clerk-Treasurer may open in the name of the city one or more accounts at financial institutions for the purpose of implementing the provisions of this section, including such accounts by which funds from autonomous city boards or agencies may be aggregated and withdrawn for the purposes herein provided. All employee contributions received with respect to the plan shall also be deposited in the fund.
