§ 96.02 TREE SPECIFICATIONS.
   (A)   Carolina poplar, cottonwood, Lombardy poplar, box elder, silver maple, ailanthus or tree of heaven, Chinese elm, Siberian elm, willows and dwarf catalpas, or female ginkgo shall not be used for street tree planting in the public right-of-way.
   (B)   All other species may be planted as street trees.
   (C)   All trees planted as street trees within the public right-of-way shall conform to the established street tree line.
   (D)   No tree shall be planted in the public right-of-way at a distance of less than 25 feet from any other tree or less than three feet from the established sidewalk line, except by permission of the city.
   (E)   Any tree planted in the public right-of-way as a street tree in the city shall be properly braced or staked and its trunk wrapped with suitable wrapping, and protected from damage or injury.
