§ 93.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   (1)   Any person, corporation, firm, or association who violates § 93.12(D)(1) of this chapter shall be fined $100 for the first false alarm fire signal in excess of three false alarm signals in any 12-month period; $200 for the second false alarm signal in excess of three false alarm signals in any 12-month period; $300 for the third and each successive false alarm signal in excess of three in any 12-month period. All fines hereunder shall be paid to the City Clerk-Treasurer within 30 days after notification of the violation. This section shall not apply to users of a new fire alarm system during the first 90 days from date of installation.
      (2)   If any person, firm, or corporation shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter, excepting § 93.12(D)(1) and § 93.17, or shall do any act prohibited herein, or shall fail to perform any duty lawfully enjoined, within the time prescribed by the Fire Chief, or shall fail, neglect, or refuse to obey any lawful order given by the Fire Chief, in connection with the provisions of this chapter, for each such violation, failure, or refusal, such person, firm or corporation shall be fined in any such sum not less than $25 nor more than $2,500. Each day of such unlawful activity as is prohibited by the first sentence of this division shall constitute a separate offense.

   (B)   Any violation of § 93.17 of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not less than $1 no more than $25.
