§ 93.17 FIRES OR EXPLOSIONS WITHIN CORPORATE LIMITS PROHIBITED; ANNUAL PROCLAMATIONS.
   (A)   Any person or persons who shall make or assist in making any bonfire on any of the streets, alleys, or public grounds of the city, or who shall throw or aid in throwing any fireball, shoot, explode, or assist in shooting or exploding any anvil, or anvils, revolver, pistol, gun, rocket or rockets, firecracker or firecrackers, or other fireworks, or explosions of any kind or character within the corporate limits of the city, excepting in the John B. Goodrich Park and at the discretion of the Park Board, shall be deemed guilty of an offense.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the Mayor of the city to issue his proclamation or notice forbidding the acts made unlawful by this section, at least one week prior to each July 4 and December 25 in each and every year, and to cause printed copies thereof to be posted in two or more of the most public places in each ward of the city.
