The term of the franchise shall be as established in the franchise agreement and shall take full effect and be in full force from and after the effective date of the franchise agreement, and the same shall continue in full force and effect for the term specified in the franchise agreement unless otherwise extended, terminated or revoked for cause as allowed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
