12-4-2: FILING OF GRIEVANCE:
The grievance shall be in writing and contain information concerning the nature of the problem, when and where it occurred, the full name of any person allegedly engaging in discrimination, and any other pertinent information. Other arrangements for submission of a grievance such as a personal interview or tape recording shall be made available for the visually impaired or those with motor impairments. The complaint shall be filed with the Village Administrator of the Village within thirty (30) calendar days of the alleged violation.
Within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the complaint, the Village Administrator will respond in writing (or a method understood by the complainant) to the complainant and/or his or her designee. The response will offer a resolution or explain the position of the Village with respect to the complaint. (Ord. 85-O-37, 9-23-1985)
