If a Village employee desires to engage in any particular activity, and that employee is uncertain whether or not said activity is prohibited by the provisions of section 12-3-2 of this chapter, said employee may request, in writing, that the Village Administrator rule in advance on the permissibility of any particular activity.
Within seven (7) days after receiving a written request for such a determination, the Village Administrator shall render a final and binding decision. The Village Administrator may make such a determination based upon such information provided to him by the employee and/or the Village Attorney. (Ord. 92-O-31, 11-9-1992)
