The Village has a compelling interest in promoting the efficient operation of the Village government and in insuring that Village employment is dependent upon meritorious performance rather than political service. To that end, the Village has determined that political activity of Village employees shall only be permitted in accordance with State law. (Ord. 92-O-31, 11-9-1992)
