1331.05 PERMIT TERM; EXTENSION AND FEE.
   Any permit issued shall be valid for one year from the date issued, provided that for cause, one extension, not to exceed one year, may be granted in writing by the building official upon payment of an additional fee equal to one-half the cost of the original permit. Failure to complete construction within the period allowed shall require cancellation of the issued permit and all permit fees and deposits shall be deemed forfeited. The proceeds of such fees and deposits shall be the property of the Municipality. When a permit is cancelled, in order for work to continue, a new permit must be obtained following application requirements for new permits.
