1331.021 FEES FOR DEVELOPMENT.
   (a)   No building permit shall be issued for the construction of any building or other structure unless a fee of five hundred dollars ($500.00) is first paid to the City for each dwelling unit to be constructed therein. As used in this section, the term “dwelling unit” shall have the same meaning as found in Chapter 1103 – Definitions of the Codified Ordinances.
   (b)   The fees collected pursuant to the provisions of this section shall be in addition to fees and deposits other wise required by the Codified Ordinances. The provisions of this section shall apply to the construction of any dwelling unit for which a building permit has not been issued at the time of the adoption of this section. The provisions of this section shall apply to all dwelling units constructed within the City, including, without limitation, dwelling units within single family dwellings (including high-rise apartments) whether constructed in conformity with the regulations prescribed in the City’s Planning and Zoning Code or pursuant to a lawfully obtained variance or court order.
