Council hereby adopts the 1999 Edition of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70-1999) and any future amendments and/or editions, save and except such portions as are hereinafter added, modified or deleted, so that all electrical materials and installations in dwelling units of one, two and three family dwellings and mobile homes, multifamily dwellings, commercial and industrial occupancy shall be in accordance with the requirements of the National Electric Code: NFPA 70-1999 sponsored by the National Fire Prevention Association, Batterymarch Park, Quincy, Massachusetts 02269.
