(a) No person shall erect or maintain any fence charged with electrical current or a willow or other live fence, except osage or blackthorn hedge.

(b) Barbed wire partition fences may be erected and maintained as provided in Ohio R.C. 971.03. No person shall erect or maintain a barbed wire fence which abuts or is adjacent to any public street or sidewalk in a commercial, service commercial or any type of multi-family residential district.

(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
