(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of these Codified Ordinances, no person shall employ the use of, brandish, exhibit or in any other manner use a firearm, explosive device, explosive substance or compound, knife or other sharp, cutting or blunt instrument in violation of any of the provisions of Chapter 509, 525, 533, 537 or 541.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
