(a) One member of the Board shall be appointed for a term of one year, one member for a term of two years, one member for a term of three years, one member for a term of four years, and one member for a term of five years. Upon expiration of the term of office of a member of the Board, his successor shall be appointed for a term of five years. Vacancies shall be filled for an unexpired term in the manner in which the original appointments are required to be made. Alternate members shall be appointed for a term of five years.
(b) The Mayor may remove any member for cause after a public hearing. Any vacancy created by removal of a member shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term of the removed member. (Ord. 2009-14. Passed 3-17-09.)
