The Director of the Municipal Redevelopment Commission shall receive for his services such annual compensation as may be set by the Mayor, subject to the approval of a majority of the members of Council. The ex-officio members of the Commission shall receive no compensation for their services, but shall be permitted to be reimbursed by the City for any necessary expenditures or expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
