(a) There is hereby created the office of Arborist, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by a majority of Council.
(b) The Arborist shall, upon request of the Service Director, inspect any tree or trees, which may hereinafter exist upon any public property or private property in the City.
(c) Upon receipt of the request of the Service Director, the Arborist shall make a lawful inspection of the tree or trees, subject to the complaint, and submit an assessment of the tree or trees and recommend what, if any, action is needed to correct the dangerous condition.
