1501.30 STANDPIPE SYSTEMS.

Standpipe systems shall be provided in new buildings and structures in accordance with this section. A Class I, Manual Wet standpipe system shall be installed in sprinklered occupancies: A, E, I, R1 and R2 buildings that meet the following requirements:

(a) Greater than 10,000 sq. ft. per floor.

(b) Equal to or greater than two stories in height above the lowest level of Fire Department access. (Ord. 2008-115. Passed 9-2-08.)
