1335.09 INSPECTION FEES AND CONSTRUCTION DEPOSITS.
   (a)    Inspection fees and construction deposits shall be deposited prior to issuing any building permit. All deposits shall be cash and subject to an increase if the nature of the work warrants or if damage during construction exceeds the deposit.
   Except as otherwise provided for, the following inspection fees are established and will be deducted from construction deposits.
 
(1)
Re-inspection or redundant inspections, when requested by the permit holder or owner, or made necessary by incomplete work, faulty construction, need of corrections, or inaccurate information, or a special inspection when requested which is not a routine inspection of work.

(2)
Occupancy inspection, pre-occupancy or change of occupancy, commercial and industrial.

(3)
City engineer grade plan and site inspection fees.
Actual cost incurred
(4)
Deductions will be made for replacement or restoration of any damaged City property, special tests, or engineering consultation fees.
   (b)    Construction deposits herein set forth shall be deposited prior to issuing
building permits.

Residential construction (new

OBC interior/exterior alteration

(2)
New construction and additions OBC
$5,000
   Costs needed in excess of deposits shall be submitted by the permit holder upon written notification by the Building Inspector. No occupancy permit of the building being constructed will be issued until the required costs are paid.
