Prior to the issuance of registration, the contractor or registrant shall file with the Chief Building Inspector a bond in the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000); said bond shall be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and shall be underwritten by a surety that is listed on the most current Treasury Circular 570 “Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds” guaranteeing full compliance with the applicable Building Code and rules and regulations promulgated under the authority of the Building Code and guaranteeing that all work done under the authority of a permit issued by the City shall be in accordance with statutes, administrative codes, and local rules and regulations.
