911.02 CORNER LOT EXEMPTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS.
Except as otherwise provided in the legislation for levying special assessments by the front foot for improvement of lands and lots bounding and abutting on the streets, roads and highways pursuant to sections of the Ohio Revised Code, each and every corner lot shall be partially exempted from assessments for any special improvements as follows:
Where such corner lot has been assessed for such improvement on the breadth-wise frontage, the lengthwise frontage shall be exempt from assessment, provided, however, that in the event the lengthwise frontage exceeds the minimum building requirements to such an extent that an additional building lot could be created by subdivision or otherwise, then the lengthwise frontage shall be exempt for only that portion required to fulfill the minimum lot area as required by the Zoning Code. The City Engineer shall cause notice to be given to Council in all cases where such special treatment is required upon filing of the special assessments.
