(A) Tex. Loc. Gov't Code, §§ 171.001 et seq., the statute which regulates conflicts of interest of officers of municipalities, is hereby adopted and made a part of this chapter for all purposes, with the provision that, in case of a conflict between the provisions of this chapter and Tex. Loc. Gov't Code, §§ 171.001 et seq., the more restrictive provision shall govern.
(B) Tex. Loc. Gov't Code, §§ 176.001 et seq., the statute which requires the filing of a "conflicts disclosure statement" in certain instances, is hereby adopted and made a part of this chapter for all purposes, with the provision that, in case of a conflict between the provisions of this chapter and Tex. Loc. Gov't Code, §§ 176.001 et seq., the more restrictive provisions will govern.
