(A) Any notice to any of the parties required or permitted under this chapter shall be deemed to have been received on the date of service if served personally on the party to whom notice is to be given, or on the date of receipt if acknowledged in writing by the recipient, or five days after mailing.
(B) For purposes of this chapter, notices and communications to the parties hereunder shall be directed to the addresses indicated below and the addresses be deemed to be the most recent address of the addressee and shall remain so until written notice of a change of address is provided to the other party by the party whose address has changed.
(1) If notice to the company: GTE Southwest, Incorporated, Attention: Associate General Counsel, 500 Carpenter Freeway, TXD 1986A, Irving, Texas 75062; and
(2) If notice to the city: City of Willis, Attention: City Manager, P.O. Box 436, Willis, Texas 77378.
