Service companies performing interceptor pumping and cleaning are required by state law to manifest every load using a state-approved manifest form. The city requires that the interceptor user or the service company electronically forward a copy of the manifest or the required data to the city or their appointed data-base holder within three days of service. The interceptor user must retain a copy of the manifest, on-site, for inspection by the city for a period of three years from the date of origin.
