§ 150.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   Planting or refusing to remove a tree in violation of §§ 150.15 through 150.17 of this chapter is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and the Code Enforcement Officer, shall initiate the necessary proceedings for abatement of the nuisance in a manner approved by civil law.
      (2)   Any person who maintains a tree in violation of §§ 150.15 through 150.17 of this chapter or who violates the conditions of any permit granted under this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 for each violation. Each tree maintained in violation of §§ 150.15 through 150.17 of this chapter shall be considered a separate violation.
