FINAL PLATS

A final plat is a record of the subdivision, as surveyed in the field. It shows property lines and other dimensions important to the developer in selling lots and to the public in maintaining accurate records of street lines, easements, utility locations and other property information.

Complete applications for final plat approval must be filed with Chief Subdivision Engineer before the preliminary plat approval expires. See § 154.361.

The Chief Subdivision Engineer must review the final plat and, based on the plat’s compliance with the final plat approval criteria of § 154.400, recommend that the final plat be approved, approved with conditions or disapproved.
