§ 112.05 EXHAUST MUFFLERS.
   No person shall operate a motor vehicle in any race or event unless it is equipped with an exhaust muffler in effectual working order and condition. The muffler shall be used whenever the engine is in operation so that there will be no excessive or unusual noise, or the engine shall be so constructed or designed that it is deadened as if it were equipped with a muffler.
