§ 39.03 HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS FOR ELECTED RETIREES.
   (A)   Persons retired from the county, if elected or appointed to county office, shall be allowed to either elect retiree or active health insurance status.
   (B)   If an official elects active coverage, they shall comply with all current policies and procedures for the coverage, and can not change insurance coverage during their term.
   (C)   If an elected official elects active coverage, upon separation from the county, he or she must elect to return to retiree status within 60 days of termination.
