§ 36.030 WORKER’S COMPENSATION CLAIMS; INSURANCE RESERVE FUND.
   (A)   The procedures for payment of worker’s compensation claims are as follows.
      (1)   After approval by Scott Wetzel Services, Inc., the County Treasurer is authorized to immediately issue a check for payment of worker’s compensation claims, up to an amount of $500.
      (2)   After approval by Scott Wetzel Services, Inc., or the State’s Attorney’s office, the Purchasing and Inventory Control Committee is authorized to approve claims for worker’s compensation in excess of $500 and not exceeding $5,000, and the County Treasurer is authorized to make immediate payment upon approval by the Purchasing and Inventory Control Committee.
      (3)   All claims in excess of $5,000 for worker’s compensation which have been awarded by the State Industrial Commission or awarded by the County Circuit Court and approved by the County State Attorney’s office shall be paid immediately by the County Treasurer.
      (4)   All other claims or settlements in excess of $5,000 will be approved by the Purchasing and Inventory Control Committee, and after approval, payment will be made immediately by the County Treasurer.
   (B)   The County Board hereby establishes the Worker’s Compensation Insurance Reserve Fund to cover payment of worker’s compensation claims outstanding as of November 30, 1981.
