(a) The occupants of each single residential, commercial, or industrial property and the owner of any multiple residential, commercial, or industrial property, or of any unoccupied or unimproved property abutting upon public sidewalks shall clear such sidewalks of snow, ice, or any other debris within 24 hours after such deposit.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
