(a) Each full-time regular employee of the City who has been a full-time employee for at least twelve consecutive months shall be paid longevity pay, in addition to his or her other compensation, at sixty dollars ($60.00) per year of service.
(b) The number of years served by the employee at his or her employment anniversary date in the year preceding the longevity payment shall be used to calculate years of service for the determination of longevity pay.
(c) Longevity pay shall be paid in a lump sum in the first regular pay in January of each year and shall terminate upon termination of employment with the City.
