157.01   SUPERINTENDENT; DUTIES.
   A Department of Maintenance is hereby created in the Department of Public Works. The Department shall be under the direction of a Superintendent who shall be accountable to the City Manager. The Superintendent shall perform the following duties:
   (a)   Exercise overall supervision of all employees reporting directly to him or her;
   (b)   Coordinate and approve the preparation of all work assignments and schedules;
   (c)   Assign individual work operations to his or her employees;
   (d)   Aid the City Manager in the preparation of the annual budget for his or her Division;
   (e)   Supervise the repair and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, bridges, culverts, curbs, gutters, parks, cemeteries and all other City property in coordination with other department and division heads;
   (f)   Supervise the collection and disposal of rubbish and garbage and the maintenance and repair of equipment therefor;
   (g)   Supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of the sanitary and storm sewerage system and the water distribution system of the City;
   (h)   Enforce rules and regulations of the State Board of Health pertaining to water distribution;
   (i)   Enforce all traffic laws and Public Utilities Commission of Ohio regulations pertaining to personnel and equipment; and
   (j)   Perform any other duties assigned by the City Manager.
